The University of Virginia awarded contract A207_PO-0472918 to Amazon Capital Services, Inc. on August 25, 2026, for the procurement of specialized diagnostic equipment. The contract is valued at $123 and encompasses the delivery of one allsun Ultrasonic Leak Detector Diagnostic Stethoscope with a frequency range of 36-44 kilohertz. The equipment package includes an air/contact probe, rotary volume control, tone generator, and associated accessories designed for vacuum, gas, and seal fault detection applications in automotive and industrial environments. The unit is to be delivered to James Rogers Balser in Virginia.

This procurement represents a minimal-value acquisition of portable diagnostic equipment by a Virginia higher education institution. The contract structure indicates a straightforward purchase order transaction without identified line-item variations or extended performance periods. As a single-unit acquisition at $123, the contract does not require typical contract administration mechanisms associated with larger-value agreements and represents routine procurement activity within the University of Virginia's operational procurement framework.
