The University of Virginia awarded contract A207_PO-0472914 to Sigma-Aldrich Inc on August 25, 2026, with a cumulative contract value of $1,279.70. The award encompasses the procurement of specialized chemical reagents for delivery to Damodara Naidu Kommi at the University of Virginia in Virginia. The contract includes one unit of Acetonitrile-d3 at a unit price of $91.70 and two units of Acetonitrile for High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Gradient Grade at a unit price of $594.00 per unit.

These chemical products are laboratory-grade reagents commonly utilized in analytical chemistry and research applications. Acetonitrile-d3, specified at 99.8 atom percent deuteration or greater, represents an isotopically labeled compound suitable for specialized analytical procedures. The HPLC-grade acetonitrile indicates materials meeting stringent purity and quality standards required for chromatographic analysis. The procurement reflects typical consumable materials acquisition by an academic research institution to support ongoing laboratory operations and research initiatives.
