W W Grainger Inc has been awarded a purchase order (PO-0470685) by the University of Virginia on August 19, 2026, for the procurement of material handling and storage equipment. The contract, valued at $497, involves the delivery of one heavy-duty rolling tool cabinet to John A Nichols. The cabinet specifications include a 26 11/16-inch width, 18-inch depth, and 33 5/16-inch height configuration with five drawers featuring 100-pound ball bearing drawer slides and a powder-coated blue finish. The total storage capacity is 7,303 cubic units.

This award represents a single-item purchase order executed within the Commonwealth of Virginia. As the contracting organization, the University of Virginia procured the equipment through W W Grainger Inc, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operations supplies. The modest contract value and nature of the procurement indicate this transaction functions as a routine equipment acquisition rather than a comprehensive service delivery arrangement.
