The University of Virginia awarded contract A207_PO-0465808 to Amazon Capital Services, Inc. on August 5, 2026, with a cumulative contract value of $116.00. The contract, executed in Virginia, encompasses the procurement of two specialized professional resources focused on mental health treatment and counseling practices. The line items include "A Clinician's Guide for Treating Active Military and Veteran Populations with EMDR Therapy" priced at $56.34 and "Counseling Veterans: A Practical Guide" priced at $60.60, each ordered in a quantity of one unit.

Both deliverables are directed to Brenda G. Haley at the University of Virginia. The resources procured under this contract are intended to support clinical education and professional development in the treatment of military personnel and veteran populations, with particular emphasis on Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy methodologies and veteran-specific counseling approaches. This modest-value procurement reflects the University of Virginia's investment in specialized educational materials to support its clinical and counseling training programs.
