Mastoparan, Vespula lewisii,ERR97% (HPLC), powder and 4 more items

The University of Virginia awarded contract A207_PO-0461908 to Quartzy on July 24, 2026, with a cumulative contract value of $567. The contract encompasses the procurement of five specialized chemical and biochemical compounds for delivery to Lisa B Haney at the University of Virginia in Virginia. The line items include Mastoparan from Vespula lewisii (wasp venom) at 97% purity via High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) analysis ($183.02), AS-605240 ($35.64), 3-Isobutyl-1-methylxanthine BioUltra grade at 99% purity ($151.67), Gallein 25mg ($136.80), and Forskolin 10mg ($60.69). All items are measured in milligrams with a quantity of one unit each.

These materials are consistent with research applications in biochemistry and pharmacological studies, suggesting the University of Virginia's research operations require specialized chemical reagents for laboratory use. The delivery consolidation to a single recipient and the specificity of the compounds indicate this procurement supports targeted research initiatives. As a firm-fixed-price purchase order, the contract represents a transactional acquisition of materials rather than an ongoing service engagement.
