Production of 10 Jefferson Medals

The Medalcraft Mint Inc has been awarded contract A207_PO-0459948-V3 by the University of Virginia, effective August 1, 2026. The prime contractor will produce ten Jefferson Medals, with delivery to the University of Virginia. The contract specifies a unit price of $1 per medal, resulting in a total contract value of $10. The contract documents do not indicate a specified period of performance beyond the award date or identify a designated county within Virginia.

The deliverable consists solely of commemorative medals bearing the Jefferson design. The University of Virginia serves as the contracting organization and buyer for this procurement. No information regarding performance location, contract duration, or renewal options is provided in the available contract documentation. The minimal contract value and straightforward scope of work suggest this represents a specialized commemorative or ceremonial procurement by the educational institution.
