Inversedine (Atipamezole Hydrochloride) Sterile Injectable Solution 5mg/mL, 10mL, Vendor SKU#… and 1 more item

The University of Virginia awarded contract A207_PO-0457014 to MWI Animal Health on July 10, 2026, for the procurement of veterinary pharmaceutical products. The contract totals $123.73 and covers the delivery of two injectable medications to Ying Zhang. The first line item consists of Inversedine (Atipamezole Hydrochloride) Sterile Injectable Solution at 5mg/mL concentration in a 10mL bottle, priced at $94.25 per unit. The second line item includes Rompun (Xylazine) Injectable, a sedative and analgesic pharmaceutical designated for horses and cervidae, supplied in a 50mL bottle at $29.48 per unit.

Both line items are being delivered to the University of Virginia's location in Virginia. The contract represents a single purchase order transaction for specialized veterinary medicinal products likely supporting the institution's animal care and research operations. The modest contract value and limited scope indicate this is a routine procurement of essential pharmaceutical supplies rather than a comprehensive service delivery arrangement.
