Sucrose Reward Tablets (precision pellet) (5TUT) 45mg40,000- Non flavor and 1 more item

The University of Virginia awarded contract A207_PO-0454399 to Animal Spec. and Provisions South on July 3, 2026, with a cumulative contract value of $414. The contract encompasses the procurement of laboratory supplies and animal care provisions. The first line item specifies 4 units of Sucrose Reward Tablets (precision pellet) at 45 milligrams per tablet, in a non-flavored formulation, at a unit price of $78 per unit. The second line item consists of 5 units of Manzanita sticks measuring 0.5 by 3 inches, sold by the pound at approximately 60 pieces per unit, at a unit price of $20.50 per unit. Both line items are to be delivered to Aaron Lam Le.

These procurement items indicate the contract supports laboratory animal care and research operations. The sucrose tablets and wooden enrichment materials (manzanita sticks) are standard consumables utilized in animal research facilities for behavioral reinforcement and environmental enrichment purposes. The relatively modest contract value reflects the consumable nature of these supplies, which are subject to regular replenishment cycles in ongoing research operations.
