Liquid Nitrogen LC180 22 PSI and 1 more item

Praxair Distribution Inc was awarded a contract by the University of Virginia on June 26, 2026, for the delivery of industrial gases to support research and operational needs. The contract, identified as A207_PO-0452785, carries a cumulative value of $239 and involves two primary line items. The first item consists of one cylinder of oxygen (O2) at 99.993% ultra-high purity with a unit price of $143.37, while the second item comprises one cylinder of liquid nitrogen at LC180 specification rated at 22 pounds per square inch with a unit price of $96.58. Both deliveries are designated for Ben Genenger at the University of Virginia in Virginia.

This procurement reflects a straightforward acquisition of specialty gases typical of academic research institutions requiring high-purity materials for laboratory and scientific applications. The contract structure and modest total value suggest this represents a single purchase order rather than a comprehensive supply agreement. As a Virginia-based contracting action, this award supports the University of Virginia's operational requirements through the established prime contractor relationship with Praxair Distribution Inc, a recognized supplier of industrial and specialty gases.
