The University of Virginia awarded contract A207_PO-0449499-V3 to Fisher Scientific Company LLC on August 8, 2026, for the procurement of laboratory supplies and personal protective equipment. The contract, valued at $545, encompasses the delivery of nitrile examination gloves and aspirating pipettes to support the University's operational and research needs. The prime contractor will deliver 382 crates of 3M nitrile powder-free textured medium-sized gloves (200-pack units) and 161 crates of 2-milliliter aspirating pipettes (500-count cases) to the designated buyer location.

Fisher Scientific Company LLC, a recognized supplier of laboratory equipment and consumables, has been selected as the prime contractor for this Virginia-based procurement. The contract represents a transactional purchase order rather than a long-term service engagement, with delivery obligations specified to the buyer's designated location within the Commonwealth of Virginia. No specific period of performance or annual value threshold is indicated in the award documentation, suggesting this constitutes a one-time or spot purchase arrangement for immediate inventory replenishment requirements.
