The University of Virginia awarded a contract to Amazon Capital Services, Inc. on August 8, 2026, for the procurement of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) filtration products. The contract, designated A207_PO-0446504-V3, is valued at twenty dollars and encompasses the delivery of Filterbuy 12x12x2 air filters with a Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV) rating of 8. The order consists of twenty individual filter units, each priced at one dollar, designed to provide essential dust and allergy defense for furnace and air conditioning systems. These filters are electrostatic pleated units manufactured in the United States, with actual dimensions of 11.50 x 11.50 x 1.75 inches.

The contract is performed in Virginia for the University of Virginia, with delivery designated to the buyer's location. As a prime contractor, Amazon Capital Services, Inc. is responsible for fulfilling the complete order of HVAC replacement filters. The modest contract value and standardized nature of the commodity suggest this represents routine maintenance supply acquisition by the institution's facilities or procurement operations.
