The University of Virginia awarded contract A207_PO-0445194 to Amazon Capital Services, Inc. on June 4, 2026, in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The contract encompasses the procurement of specialized environmental monitoring equipment and hardware supplies, with a cumulative contract value of $422. The primary deliverable consists of three Kestrel Drop D3 Wireless Temperature, Humidity and Pressure Data Loggers (Red model) at $139 per unit, which serve as portable instruments for collecting environmental data across multiple parameters. These units are scheduled for delivery to Meghan Jay Whitlock.

The contract also includes a secondary line item comprising one package of 100 stainless steel eye screws (304 grade, 8x4mm specification) valued at $5.03, also for delivery to the same recipient. These self-tapping hardware components are commonly utilized in laboratory, research, or facility management applications. The modest contract value and specific equipment selections suggest this procurement supports research, maintenance, or operational activities within the University of Virginia's institutional framework.
