Contract 26314912

W.W. Grainger, Inc. dba Grainger was awarded a purchase order (PO No. 26314912) by VIA Metropolitan Transit - K0152, a political subdivision located in San Antonio, Texas, under the TXMAS-25-45002 contract framework. The award date was July 29, 2026, with a total contract value of $35.74. The procured items are classified under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) Code 45000 (general supplies) and consist of two line items from Grainger's inventory, with delivery scheduled for July 29, 2026. As a Texas political subdivision, VIA Metropolitan Transit is exempt from state and city sales taxes under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4).

The purchase order represents a single transaction for general supply items with no advance order request period specified. W.W. Grainger, Inc., an industrial supplier headquartered in Austin, Texas, served as the prime contractor for this procurement. The order was issued by the State of Texas, Statewide Procurement Division, on behalf of the transit authority. The minimal contract value and immediate delivery date indicate this was a routine materials acquisition processed through the state's procurement framework rather than a full-term supply contract.
