Contract 26305137

W.W. Grainger, Inc. dba Grainger was awarded a purchase order by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), Agency 601, on July 15, 2026, under the TXMAS-25-45002 contract. The contractor is located at 7950 Research Blvd., Austin, Texas 78758-8425. The cumulative contract value is $2,634.00, covering two line items classified under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing Code 45000. Both line items consist of Grainger items with immediate delivery upon the order date (Acceptance and Receipt Offset of zero days). The first line item is valued at $2,634.00 for one unit, while the second line item carries no additional charge.

The purchase order was processed through the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Statewide Procurement Division as an offline sale transaction. The state of Texas claims exemption from federal excise taxes and state and city sales taxes under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4), as the property is being procured for exclusive use by the state. The materials procured were delivered immediately upon order issuance on July 15, 2026, and the transaction appears to represent a one-time purchase rather than an ongoing contractual arrangement with an extended performance period.
