Contract 26303619

W.W. Grainger, Inc. dba Grainger was awarded a purchase order by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division on July 15, 2026, under contract TXMAS-25-45002. The contract value totals $5,418.10, representing a single procurement transaction with delivery to the TDCJ Institutional Division Maintenance Depot in Huntsville, Texas. The contract encompasses two line items classified under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) Code 45000, both identified as Grainger items, with only the first line item carrying a unit price of $5,418.10.

The purchase order reflects an offline sale with immediate fulfillment, as evidenced by the zero-day arrival and receipt of order timeline and delivery date matching the award date of July 15, 2026. While the specific nature of the Grainger items is not explicitly detailed in the available documentation, the procurement falls within the supplies and materials category. The State of Texas claimed exemption from Federal Excise Taxes and state and city sales taxes under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4). No extended performance period is indicated, suggesting this represents a discrete procurement transaction rather than an ongoing supply or service agreement.
