Contract 26301541

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division (TDCJ ITD) awarded a purchase order totaling $449.60 to W.W. Grainger, Inc. dba Grainger on July 14, 2026, under statewide contract TXMAS-25-45002 administered through the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Statewide Procurement Division. The order encompasses two line items classified as Grainger items under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) Code 45000, with delivery scheduled to the TDCJ ITD Maintenance Depot in Huntsville, Texas. Grainger, based in Austin, Texas, served as the prime contractor for this procurement.

The purchase order specifies the delivery of goods on July 14, 2026, with one line item valued at $449.60 and a second line item at no charge. The materials provided do not specify the exact nature of the items beyond their classification as Grainger catalog items, though the maintenance depot designation suggests supplies or equipment for institutional maintenance operations. As a state agency, TDCJ ITD is exempt from federal excise taxes and state and local sales taxes under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4).
