Contract 26299887

W.W. Grainger, Inc., dba Grainger, was awarded a purchase order by the Texas Department of Transportation - 601 under contract TXMAS-25-45002 on July 14, 2026. The procurement was executed through the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts' Statewide Procurement Division. Grainger's location of performance is identified as 7950 Research Blvd., Austin, Texas 78758-8425. The contract encompasses the supply of unspecified Grainger items classified under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) Code 45000, with delivery completed on the award date of July 14, 2026.

The total contract value is $401.16, comprised of two line items with quantities of one unit each under the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing classification system. The purchase order specifies one item at a unit price of $401.16 and a second item at no charge. As the purchasing entity is a state agency, the State of Texas is exempt from Federal Excise Taxes and state and city sales taxes under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4). Due to the immediate delivery requirement and minimal contract value, this appears to be a small-dollar, expedited procurement rather than a blanket or indefinite-quantity agreement.
