On July 10, 2026, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division awarded purchase order 26291194 to W.W. Grainger, Inc. dba Grainger under the TXMAS-25-45002 contract. The award encompasses two line items classified under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) Code 45000, with a total cumulative value of $97.83. The purchase order qualifies for federal excise tax and Texas state and local sales tax exemption under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4), as the procured items are for exclusive use by a state agency. The minimal contract value and sparse line item descriptions indicate this represents a routine maintenance or supply acquisition through an existing statewide contract vehicle. No advance notice of order was required for fulfillment of this purchase order.
