Contract 26290680

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division (TDCJ ITD) issued Purchase Order No. 26290680 to W.W. Grainger, Inc. dba Grainger on July 10, 2026, under the TXMAS-25-45002 Texas Multiple Award Schedule contract. The order, valued at $159.02, procures two Grainger items for delivery to the TDCJ ITD Maintenance Depot located in Huntsville, Texas. While the specific products are not detailed in the available documentation, they are classified as tangible personal property for exclusive state use. Delivery was scheduled for immediate execution on the award date with zero days advance notice required.

The contract was executed under Texas's sales and excise tax exemption provisions, which govern state purchases of tangible personal property. The compressed timeline and minimal contract value suggest this represents a routine, urgent procurement through an existing multiple award schedule agreement. As a scheduled contract vehicle, this award arrangement allows the TDCJ ITD to procure maintenance-related supplies and equipment from Grainger's established catalog on an as-needed basis under pre-negotiated terms.
