Contract 26290405

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division (TDCJ-ID), awarded contract TXMAS-25-45002 to W.W. Grainger, Inc. dba Grainger on July 10, 2026. The contract encompasses the procurement of maintenance and supply items classified under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) Code 45000. The purchase order (PO No. 26290405) totals $147.20 and consists of two line items sourced from Grainger's inventory. The place of performance is the TDCJ-ID Maintenance Depot located in Huntsville, Texas. Delivery was scheduled for July 10, 2026, with zero days' acknowledged receipt of order (ARO) time.

The contract represents a routine procurement of supplies required for institutional maintenance operations. Texas claimed exemption from federal excise taxes and state and city sales taxes under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4), confirming the items were procured for exclusive use by the state agency. While the specific nature of the individual Grainger items is not detailed in the contract documentation, the classification and procurement context indicate these were standard maintenance supplies necessary for operational support at the TDCJ-ID facility.
