Contract 26286566

W.W. Grainger, Inc. dba Grainger was awarded a purchase order by the State of Texas, Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division (TDCJ-ID) on June 24, 2026, under Contract TXMAS-25-45002. The contract, valued at $2,590.40, covers the procurement of two Grainger items for delivery to the TDCJ-ID Maintenance Depot in Huntsville, Texas. The first line item specifies one unit priced at $2,590.40, while the second line item specifies one unit at no additional cost. Both items were scheduled for delivery on June 24, 2026, with zero days allowed for fulfillment from the purchase order date.

The purchase order was processed through the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts' Statewide Procurement Division, with Bobby Pounds identified as the purchaser. As a procurement for exclusive use by the State of Texas, the transaction is exempt from federal excise taxes and state sales taxes under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4). The specific nature of the Grainger items procured is not detailed in the available documentation, though the Huntsville maintenance facility location suggests the supplies support institutional operations within the state corrections system.
