Contract 26281887

W.W. Grainger, Inc. dba Grainger received a purchase order award from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice/Institutional Division (TDCJ) under contract TXMAS-25-45002. The award, issued on June 23, 2026, covers the procurement of two Grainger items classified under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) Code 45000. The total contract value is $36.02, with the first line item priced at $36.02 per unit and the second line item listed at zero cost. Both items were scheduled for immediate delivery on June 23, 2026, to the TDCJ Institutional Training Depot in Huntsville, Texas.

The specific products being supplied are identified only as "Grainger items" within the procurement documentation and are not further detailed in the available materials. The State of Texas exercised its statutory tax exemption from federal excise taxes and Texas sales taxes under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4) for this procurement. Given the minimal contract value and immediate delivery requirements, this appears to be a routine maintenance or operational supplies purchase processed through the Texas Statewide Procurement Division.
