The Texas Department of Transportation - District 601 issued Purchase Order 26274169 to W.W. Grainger, Inc. dba Grainger on June 18, 2026, under contract TXMAS-25-45002. The purchase order covers two Grainger-supplied items classified under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) Code 45000, with a total contract value of $755.80. The contractor is located at 7950 Research Blvd., Austin, Texas 78758-8425. The purchase order specifies one Grainger item priced at $755.80 and one additional Grainger item provided at no charge. The State of Texas claims exemption from sales and excise taxes under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4), recognizing the procurement as exclusively for state use. The contract documentation does not specify a defined period of performance beyond the purchase order issuance date of June 18, 2026, indicating this represents a discrete procurement transaction rather than an ongoing service or supply agreement.
