Contract 26239029

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division awarded contract TXMAS-25-45002 to W.W. Grainger, Inc. dba Grainger effective April 1, 2026. The contract reflects a cumulative value of $571.39 and encompasses the procurement of Grainger items through a line-item purchase arrangement. The specific products or services are identified generically as "Grainger items" within the contract documentation, with two line items each representing a quantity of one unit. One line item specifies a unit price of $571.39.

The contract award documents do not specify the period of performance, place of performance, or detailed product descriptions beyond the generic item references. The contracting organization is the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ), serving the state of Texas. Additional details regarding the specific nature of the supplies or equipment being procured are contained in supporting documentation filed on April 1, 2026, as referenced in the government file 26239029-0.pdf (14 KB). The relatively modest contract value and structure suggest this may represent a routine procurement of maintenance, repair, or operational supplies through an established vendor relationship.
