Contract 26235996

The Texas Department of Transportation (Agency 601), through the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts' Statewide Procurement Division, awarded a purchase order to W.W. Grainger, Inc. dba Grainger on March 31, 2026, under Contract TXMAS-25-45002. The contractor, headquartered at 7950 Research Blvd., Austin, Texas 78758-8425, was selected to provide supplies under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) Code 45000. The contract contains two line items for Grainger items with a combined cumulative value of $158.28.

The purchase order was issued as an offline sale transaction with internal tracking number 9795201996 and carries a total contract value of $158.28. The State of Texas exempted this procurement from all Federal Excise Taxes and state sales taxes as a purchase for the exclusive use of the state. The specific products or materials supplied are identified generically as "Grainger items" in the available contract documentation. Given the minimal contract value and single transaction nature reflected in the materials, this represents a point-in-time purchase order rather than an ongoing supply contract, with the award date of March 31, 2026, marking the order placement.
