Contract 26229093

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division issued Purchase Order 26229093 to W.W. Grainger, Inc. dba Grainger on March 30, 2026, for the procurement of one Grainger item with a total contract value of $186.94. The award was processed through the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts' Statewide Procurement Division under contract TXMAS-25-45002. The goods are designated for delivery to the TDCJ Institutional Division Maintenance Depot located in Huntsville, Texas. As a state agency procurement, the State of Texas is exempt from applicable federal excise taxes and state and local sales taxes pursuant to Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4).

The specific product or service description is identified only as a "Grainger Item" in the procurement documentation, with a unit price of $186.94. The contract represents a single-unit offline sale purchase order with no specified contract performance period beyond the award date of March 30, 2026. The minimal contract value and single-item nature of this procurement suggest it addresses an immediate operational need at the state correctional facility maintenance operations in Huntsville.
