Contract 26227026

On March 30, 2026, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), Agency 601, issued Purchase Order No. 26227026 to W.W. Grainger, Inc. dba Grainger for the procurement of one Grainger item classified under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) Code 45000. The contract, identified as TXMAS-25-45002, carries a total order value of $79.86. The awardee, located at 7950 Research Blvd., Austin, Texas 78758-8425, fulfilled this offline sale purchase order with delivery to the United States. The procurement was processed through the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Statewide Procurement Division, with the ordering contact identified as Bobby Pounds.

The specific product or service description is not detailed in the available documentation beyond the generic classification as a "Grainger item." The State of Texas claimed exemption from sales and use taxes under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4) and exemption from Federal Excise Taxes as applicable. Given the minimal contract value and single-line-item structure, this purchase order represents a routine, low-value acquisition executed through the state's centralized procurement framework.
