Laboratory Equipment, Accessories, and Supplies: Biochemistry, Chemistry, Environmental Science, etc.

Government Scientific Source, Inc. has been awarded a TXMAS (Texas Multiple Award Schedule) contract by the Texas Department of Public Safety - 405, focusing on laboratory equipment and supplies specifically related to water treatment and purification technologies. The contract covers a range of specialized equipment including water conditioners, water purifiers, domestic water oxygenators, water purification equipment, and ultrafiltration systems, as categorized by their respective UNSPSC and NIGP codes.

The contract is scheduled to commence on February 6, 2025, and is set to conclude on July 14, 2025, with a reported cumulative value of $546. While the contract appears to be for laboratory and scientific water treatment equipment, the relatively low contract value suggests this may be a limited-scope or specific-use procurement. The award is specific to the State of Texas and is structured under the state's multiple award schedule contracting mechanism, which allows for streamlined procurement of scientific and technical equipment for government agencies.
