Contract 26333069

The Fort Worth Housing Authority (K2203), a political subdivision of the State of Texas, awarded a purchase order to The Hertz Corporation on August 6, 2026, under Statewide Term Contract 975-C1. The contract, processed through the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Statewide Procurement Division, covers one unit of a commodity classified under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) Code 97514. The Hertz Corporation, located at 8501 Williams Road, Estero, Florida, serves as the prime contractor for this procurement. The total contract value is $38.32, with a unit price of $38.32 and a delivery date of August 6, 2026, requiring zero days advance notice.

The procurement is structured as an offline sale purchase order with no advance notice requirement for delivery. The purchase is exempt from federal excise taxes and state and city sales taxes under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4), as the commodity is being secured for the exclusive use of a Texas political subdivision. While the specific nature of the commodity under NIGP Code 97514 cannot be definitively determined from the materials provided, the transaction represents a minimal-value purchase executed through the State's centralized procurement framework.
