Contract 26332649

The State of Texas, through its Statewide Procurement Division, awarded a purchase order (PO No. 26332649) to The Hertz Corporation on August 6, 2026. The contracting organization is Southwest Key Programs - A2271, a Texas state agency located in Austin. The purchase order covers a single line item under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) Code 97514, classified as Commodity Code "C" under the existing term contract 975-C1. The order is for one unit at a unit price of $265.50, with a total contract value of $265.50. The Hertz Corporation, headquartered in Estero, Florida, was required to deliver the item on August 6, 2026, with zero days allowed for arrival after order.

The specific product or service being procured is identified only by the generic Commodity Code "C" designation in the available documentation. No detailed product specifications or service descriptions are provided in the materials reviewed. The State of Texas claims exemption from federal excise taxes and state and city sales taxes under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4), indicating the procurement is for tangible personal property intended for exclusive use by the state. The minimal contract value and immediate delivery requirement suggest this represents a routine procurement transaction against an existing term contract vehicle.
