Contract 26331136

The Texas Education Agency (Agency 701), operating under the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Statewide Procurement Division, awarded contract 26331136 to The Hertz Corporation on August 6, 2026. The Hertz Corporation, headquartered at 8501 Williams Road, Estero, Florida, was selected as the prime contractor under this term contract. The contract represents a single purchase order (PO No. 26331136) for one unit of commodity item F, with a total contract value of $268.84. Delivery was scheduled for August 6, 2026, with zero days advance required notice.

The specific product or service deliverable under this purchase order cannot be definitively determined from the available documentation, as the line item description and commodity classification details are not fully specified in the contract materials provided. The State of Texas exercised exemption from federal excise taxes and applicable state and city sales taxes under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4), confirming the procurement was for the exclusive use of the State of Texas or a Texas political subdivision. The minimal contract value and immediate delivery date suggest this represents a routine, low-dollar procurement transaction processed through the statewide term contract vehicle.
