Contract 26330337

The State of Texas, through Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEMS), awarded a purchase order to The Hertz Corporation (DUNS: 11319385685) on August 6, 2026, under existing term contract 975-C1. The contractor, headquartered in Estero, Florida, was tasked with supplying one unit of commodity code "D" under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing Code 97514. The total contract value is $123.96, with delivery required on August 6, 2026, with zero days after receipt of order. Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service served as both the contracting organization and the purchasing agency for this procurement.

The specific product or service procured under commodity code "D" cannot be definitively determined from the available documentation, as the government file references only the commodity code designation without providing a detailed description of the deliverable. The purchase order documents indicate this acquisition was made under a pre-existing statewide term contract, suggesting the item was procured from an established vendor list maintained by the State of Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, Statewide Procurement Division. As a state procurement, The Hertz Corporation's invoicing was exempt from Federal Excise Taxes and state and city sales taxes under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4).
