Standard Overnight

The State of Texas, through the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Statewide Procurement Division on behalf of the Texas Department of Justice and Community Justice Assist agency (Agency 698), awarded a contract to FedEx Corporate Services, Inc. for overnight delivery services. The contract, identified as 26321802, was executed on August 4, 2026, with a total value of $13.45. The prime contractor, FedEx Corporate Services, Inc., is located at 900 7th Street NW, Suite 550, Washington, District of Columbia. The contract encompasses one line item for Standard Overnight delivery services procured at a unit price of $13.45 per unit, with delivery scheduled for August 4, 2026.

This purchase order represents a single transaction for Standard Overnight delivery services classified under the term contract 962-C1. The State of Texas asserted a sales tax exemption under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4) based on the services being secured for exclusive state use. The minimal contract value and single-unit procurement indicate this represents a discrete delivery requirement rather than an ongoing service engagement, with performance completed on the execution date.
