Express Saver

FedEx Corporate Services, Inc. has been awarded a purchase order by the State of Texas Department of Justice and Community Justice Assistance (Agency Code 698) for express shipping services. The contract, identified as 26321230, was executed on August 4, 2026, with a total order value of $14.69. The service procured is one unit of Express Saver shipping, priced at $14.69 per unit under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) Code 96224. FedEx Corporate Services, Inc. is headquartered at 900 7th Street NW, Suite 550, Washington, D.C. 20001.

This purchase order represents a single transaction with immediate performance requirements and zero days advance order notice. The State of Texas claims exemption from federal excise taxes and sales taxes under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4) as the procurement is designated for exclusive state use. The order was authorized by Bobby Pounds and processed through the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts—Statewide Procurement Division. Given the minimal contract value and nature of the transaction, this appears to be an individual purchase order issued against an existing term contract rather than a new contractual relationship.
