Fedex 2Day Service

The Texas Juvenile Justice Department (Agency 644) awarded a purchase order to FedEx Corporate Services, Inc. on August 4, 2026, for FedEx 2Day Service delivery. The prime contractor, FedEx Corporate Services, Inc., is located at 900 7th Street NW, Suite 550, Washington, District of Columbia 20001. The contract is identified as 26320944 and represents a single unit order valued at $8.19, issued through the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts - Statewide Procurement Division. The purchase order required zero days advance notice for ordering under this term contract arrangement.

The service was delivered on August 4, 2026, the same date as the purchase order issuance, with no specified extended performance period documented in the materials provided. The State of Texas claimed exemption from Federal Excise Taxes and state and local sales taxes under Texas Tax Code, Section 151.309(4), as the service was procured for the exclusive use of the state or a Texas political subdivision. The minimal contract value of $8.19 indicates this represents a single, discrete expedited shipping transaction rather than an ongoing service commitment under the broader term contract framework.
