Standard Overnight

On August 3, 2026, the State of Texas, through the Comptroller of Public Accounts Statewide Procurement Division on behalf of the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (Agency 644), awarded a purchase order to FedEx Corporate Services, Inc. for Standard Overnight delivery services. The contract, identified as 26320580, represents a single transaction valued at $133.61 for one unit of overnight delivery service scheduled for performance on August 3, 2026, with zero days required after receipt of order. FedEx Corporate Services, Inc., located at 900 7th Street NW, Suite 550, Washington, District of Columbia 20001, serves as the prime contractor for this engagement.

The purchase order was issued under FedEx's existing Term Contract 962-C1 and reflects a direct procurement of tangible personal property classified for exclusive state use. As a state entity, Texas claimed a sales tax exemption under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4) and is exempt from federal excise taxes on this transaction. The minimal contract value and expedited delivery timeline indicate this represents a routine operational procurement to support the Texas Juvenile Justice Department's immediate shipping requirements.
