Rayovac High Energy, AAA Batteries; 24/Pack. 32lbs/Pack. 288 Batteries/CS. Freight Included.

The Texas Military Department - 401 awarded a purchase order to WorkQuest Inc. on September 1, 2026, under term contract 615-S1 for the supply of Rayovac High Energy AAA batteries. The order encompasses one case containing 288 batteries (24-pack configuration) with a total contract value of $119.10. The contractor is located at 1011 East 53 1/2 Street in Austin, Texas, and delivery is specified for September 7, 2026, representing a five-day delivery window from the order date. Freight charges are included in the quoted unit price of $119.10.

The procured batteries will be delivered to Alec Castellano at 2200 W 35th Street, Building 38 in Austin, Texas. The purchasing agent for the Texas Military Department is Larry Thomas. As the procurement is designated for exclusive state use, the State of Texas has claimed an exemption from sales tax under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4). The relatively modest contract value and single-line-item configuration indicate this represents a routine operational purchase of general supplies for departmental use rather than a substantial service delivery engagement.
