DIR Cooperative contract/Best Value

Carahsoft Technology Corp has been awarded a DIR (Department of Information Resources) Cooperative contract by the State of Texas on December 16, 2025. The contract focuses on providing Business Process Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Business Intelligence software solutions, as indicated by the UNSPSC codes 43231606 and 43232314, and the NIGP code 20821 for Business Intelligence Software.

While specific contract value details are not fully disclosed, the award appears to be a best-value cooperative contract mechanism typical of state-level procurement strategies. The contract enables the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) to leverage Carahsoft's technology solutions, likely aimed at enhancing data analysis, resource management, and operational efficiency across state educational infrastructure. The contract's designation suggests it will serve as a strategic procurement vehicle for Texas state agencies and potentially affiliated educational institutions.
