Vest, Safety, Universal Adopt-A-Highway, Orange with Silver Reflective Tape, Freight Included

The Texas School for the Deaf, a state political subdivision located in Austin, Texas, awarded a purchase order (Contract No. 27006885) to WorkQuest Inc., an Austin-based contractor, on October 9, 2026. The contract, sourced under the term contract designated 345-S1, encompasses the procurement of ten orange safety vests with silver reflective tape designed for Adopt-A-Highway use, with freight included. The unit price established for each vest is $5.93, resulting in a total contract value of $59.30. Delivery was scheduled for October 14, 2026, with an agreed delivery timeframe of five days from the order date.

The safety vests are designated for delivery to the Texas School for the Deaf Warehouse located at 1102 South Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas 78704. As the procurement is for exclusive use by a state political subdivision, the purchase order is subject to Texas state sales tax exemption provisions under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4). The relatively modest contract value and specific commodity nature of this award indicate a routine operational procurement to support the organization's safety initiatives and Adopt-A-Highway program participation.
