Priority Overnight

The State of Texas, through the Texas Department of Justice and Community Justice Assistance (TDJC), awarded a term contract to FedEx Corporate Services, Inc. for small package delivery services. The contract, identified as 26249719, was awarded on April 28, 2026, with a completion date of November 27, 2026. The prime contractor, FedEx Corporate Services, Inc., maintains its principal place of business at 900 7th Street Northwest, Suite 550, Washington, District of Columbia. The contract encompasses Priority Overnight shipping services under FedEx's term contract 962-C1 (NIGP Code 96224), with a total contract value of eighteen dollars.

The specific line item ordered comprises one unit of Priority Overnight delivery services at a unit price of $18.85. This purchase order represents an offline sale transaction issued by the State of Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Statewide Procurement Division on behalf of TDJC. As a state entity, Texas claimed exemption from federal excise taxes and state sales taxes under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4) for tangible personal property purchased for exclusive use by the State of Texas or its political subdivisions. The relatively modest contract value and limited scope suggest this represents a discrete, time-sensitive shipping requirement for the state agency during the specified performance period.
