Fedex 2Day Service

The State of Texas, through the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Community Justice Assistance division, awarded a term contract to FedEx Corporate Services, Inc. for small package delivery services. The contract, identified as 26248195, was executed on April 28, 2026, with a completion date of November 27, 2026. The prime contractor, FedEx Corporate Services, Inc., is located at 900 7th Street NW, Suite 550, Washington, D.C. The contract value totals $24.15, representing a single unit of FedEx 2Day Service procured under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing Code 96224.

The procurement was classified as an Offline Sale Purchase Order and documented under Purchase Order Number 26248195. The State of Texas claimed exemption from federal excise taxes and state and city sales taxes under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4), as the service was procured for exclusive use by the State. The contract's relatively modest value and narrow scope indicate a limited, point-in-time delivery requirement rather than an ongoing service arrangement, despite its designation as a term contract.
