About this award
The Texas Juvenile Justice Department (Agency 644) awarded a term contract to FedEx Corporate Services, Inc. for small package delivery services effective December 1, 2025, through November 27, 2026. The contract, identified as 26193979, carries a cumulative value of $49.00 and covers one Priority Overnight shipping service at a unit price of $49.90. FedEx Corporate Services, Inc. is located at 900 7th Street NW, Suite 550, Washington, D.C. The purchase order was issued through the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Statewide Procurement Division under Purchase Order Number 26193979.
This procurement was classified under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) Code 96224 and reflects a single-unit delivery requirement for the contracting state agency. The State of Texas claimed exemption from Federal Excise Taxes and sales tax under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4), as the services are for exclusive use by a state agency. The relatively modest contract value suggests this represents either a one-time shipment requirement or a pilot procurement under the broader term contract vehicle.
