Contract 26245610

The State of Texas, Department of Public Safety (Agency 405), awarded a term contract to Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC for the supply of tires. The contract, identified as 26245610, was awarded on April 27, 2026, with a completion date of June 30, 2027. The prime contractor, Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC, is located in Nashville, Tennessee. The contract carries a cumulative value of $157.32, based on a single line item purchase order for one tire at a unit price of $157.32 under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) Code 86305.

Performance under this contract is being executed through the State of Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, Statewide Procurement Division. As a term contract vehicle, this award provides the Department of Public Safety with access to tire products from the awarded vendor for the specified contract period. The State of Texas has claimed exemption from Federal Excise Taxes and state and city sales taxes under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4), as the purchase is for the exclusive use of a state agency. The relatively modest contract value reflects what appears to be an initial or routine procurement action under the broader term contract framework.
