Tires and Tubes

The State of Texas Department of Public Safety (Agency 405) awarded a term contract to Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC for the procurement of tires. The contract, identified as 863-C1 with purchase order number 26208521, was executed on December 11, 2025, with a contract completion date of June 30, 2027. The total contract value is $507.56, representing a single tire unit procured at a unit price of $507.56. Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC, headquartered at 200 4th Avenue South, Nashville, Tennessee, serves as the prime contractor for this award.

The procurement falls under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) Code 86305 and qualifies as a term contract type. As a state purchase, the order is exempt from Federal Excise Taxes and state and local sales taxes under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4). The relatively modest contract value and single-unit quantity suggest this represents an individual purchase order issued against a broader existing term contract agreement rather than a comprehensive blanket procurement arrangement. No specific place of performance or delivery location is identified in the available contract documentation.
