Tires and Tubes

The State of Texas, Department of Public Safety (Agency 405), awarded a term contract to Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC for the procurement of tires. The contract, designated as Term 26207272, was executed on November 7, 2025, with a performance period extending through June 30, 2027. The initial purchase order (PO No. 26207272) reflects a unit price of $261.68 for one tire procured under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing Code 86305. Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, serves as the prime contractor for this award.

The contract value associated with the initial purchase order is $261.68, with goods designated for delivery to the United States. The State of Texas claims exemption from Federal Excise Taxes and State and City Sales Taxes under Texas Tax Code, Section 151.309(4), as the property is being procured for exclusive use by a state agency. The term structure of this contract indicates that additional tire purchases may be placed against this agreement through the June 30, 2027 completion date, though the cumulative contract value reflects only the initial order value at this time.
