Tires and Tubes

The City of Bridgeport, Texas (M0065) awarded a term contract to Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC for the supply of tires. This contract, designated as 26189180, was awarded on October 31, 2025, with a completion date of June 30, 2027. The contract value is $629.28, representing a single purchase order for one tire procured under National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) Code 86305 at a unit price of $629.28. The goods are designated for delivery to the City of Bridgeport at 900 Thompson Street, Bridgeport, Texas 76426.

The procurement was processed through the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts' Statewide Procurement Division and includes applicable state and city sales tax exemptions under Texas Tax Code Section 151.309(4). Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, serves as the prime contractor. The State of Texas maintains exemption from Federal Excise Taxes as noted in the contract terms. Given the modest contract value and single-unit purchase order, this award appears to represent a targeted procurement to support municipal fleet or equipment maintenance requirements rather than a comprehensive term supply agreement.
