Badges, Name Plates and Commendation/Award Bars, Law Enforcement

The Texas Parks & Wildlife Department awarded a term contract (26024975) to Central Police Supply, LTD. of Houston, Texas, for the procurement of a uniform nameplate. The specific line item is a single silver-finish, solid brass nameplate manufactured by Blackinton, with a unit price of $14.70. The contract was executed on November 5, 2025, with a completion date of November 30, 2025, and delivery specified for December 15, 2025, to Bastrop State Park located at 100 Park Road 1A in Bastrop, Texas.

The purchase order is structured as a term contract with a cumulative value of fourteen dollars, exempted from federal excise taxes under Texas Tax Code, Section 151.309(4), due to the item being secured for exclusive use by the State of Texas. Billing for the contract will be processed through the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts - Statewide Procurement Division in Austin. The procurement appears to be specifically for a law enforcement uniform accessory, consistent with the contract's broader description of "Badges, Name Plates and Commendation/Award Bars, Law Enforcement."
