TD Navio Midi (Item# 113559) Speech Generating Device (SGD)

The California Public Utilities Commission awarded a telecom contract to Tobii Dynavox LLC on February 9, 2026, with a total contract value of $3,972.83. The contract encompasses the procurement of specialized communication and assistive technology equipment, specifically a TD Navio Midi Speech Generating Device (SGD) priced at $6,768.25 per unit and a speaker phone unit valued at $68.80. These devices are designed to support individuals with speech and communication disabilities.

The contract reflects a net adjustment of $3,530.83 deducted for insurance, resulting in the final contract amount of $3,972.83. While specific performance locations and contract performance periods are not detailed in the available documentation, the award represents a targeted procurement of assistive communication technology by a California state agency. The relatively modest contract value and single-unit quantities suggest this may be a specialized equipment acquisition to support operational or accessibility requirements within the Public Utilities Commission.
