The California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation awarded a statewide contract to American Textile Systems on September 7, 2022, for the procurement of textile products. The contract, identified as 4500737119, will run through September 6, 2026, with an annual contract value of $8,894.12. The primary product categories include terry cloth towels and washcloths in white, specifically a 20 x 40 white bath towel and a 12 x 12 white washcloth.

The contract includes two primary line items: 650 dozen bath towels priced at $10.99 per dozen and 460 dozen washcloths priced at $2.25 per dozen. These textiles are likely intended for institutional use within the California correctional system. The statewide contract mechanism suggests these products will be available for procurement by various state agencies and potentially local correctional facilities throughout California during the four-year performance period.
