The Wildlife Conservation Board of California has awarded a contract to Placer Title Company for a non-information technology services subvention and local assistance project. The contract, identified as NON-IT Services_Subvention and Local Assistance 0000001529, was executed on July 16, 2025, with a total contract value of $4,300.00. The contract appears to involve a single line item for one acre, priced at $4,300, with a project identification number of 2023188 and a speedchart of 1000123591 for the expenditure year 2023.

While specific details about the precise nature of the local assistance are not fully elaborated, the contract suggests a land-related transaction or conservation effort involving one acre of property. The involvement of Placer Title Company, which typically specializes in real estate title services, indicates the project likely relates to property transfer, easement, or conservation land acquisition in California. The relatively modest contract value of $4,300 suggests this may be a targeted, specific-scope project within the Wildlife Conservation Board's broader land management or preservation initiatives.
